If you’re a frequent propane user then you know how bad last winter was. Colder than average temperatures with a shortened supply of propane left many providers scrambling to find the gallons needed to fulfill its customers needs. As a consequence prices inflated rapidly due to a number of factors. Mollie O’Dell, spokeswoman for the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), the industrys lead advocacy group suggested four reasons for last years shortage including record propane exports, a bumper crop of wet corn, extended frigid weather, and company pipeline choices.
Although each of these factors occurring again at the same time are rare we spent time this summer making sure that we will have an ample supply of gallons available for our customers. For the first time we are also offering a capped pricing program to any new or existing Flynn Propane customers. Unlike capped programs that other competitors may offer our capped program does not require any additional fees or up front costs.
